60 hour pre-licensing course
This is the required coursework needed before you may
take your real estate examination in the state of
Connecticut.
Sixty hours of classroom time, followed by an
examination.

Principles & Practices of
Real Estate
30 hour broker-upgrade course
This is the required coursework if you wish to
upgrade your Connecticut real estate salesperson license
to a broker license, and you've only taken 30 hours of
Principles & Practice in the past.
Am additional sixty hours of classroom training,
including Appraisal I and an elective course, will also
be required prior to sitting for your broker license
exam.
Thirty hours of classroom time, followed by an
examination.

Note for Broker Applicants:
If you completed a 30-hour Principles & Practices after
October 1, 1994, then an additional 30 hours will now be
needed. If you completed Principles & Practices prior
to October 1, 1994, then you must now take the full
60-hour class.
These classes meet the minimum
requirements set forth by the
Department of Consumer Protection, Real Estate
Commission.
